Official publications on SAEGIS

You can now include full texts with the official trademark publication. With all the information from the original publication you get a better insight into the objectives of the owner of the trademark when applied for.
The official publications are available in:

Custom Search and AutoScreen: Publications can be provided for most countries. Select ‘add the full publication to my full texts’ in your General Settings.

ISS: ISS search results offer links to the official publication of the trademarks for which no Full Text is available

Brand new: Brazil

Our brand new Brazil database on Custom Search contains:

about 1 100 000 published trademarks;
all active trademarks and their logos as well as the inactive trademarks of the past 3 years;
all relevant information including an English translation of goods and services

New generic top level domain names

To expand the coverage of our domain name searches on SAEGIS, we now also include .us and the top level domain names .aero, .cat, .coop, .cat, .mobi, .name and .travel:

.mobi - for mobile products and services;
.aero - for the air transport industry;
.coop - for cooperative associations;
.cat - for the Catalan language / culture;
.name - for individuals or personalities;
.travel - for the travel industry.

Be 3 years ahead of Chinese market

Your online trademark screening searches in China now include unpublished pending applications, completing our existing unique China trademark database.

Thanks to this additional data you are able to include information about potentially new Chinese trademarks a lot faster. Especially since the period between the filing and the publication of a Chinese trademark can take an average of 3 years.

The addition of approximately 1 800 000 unpublished records include subclass descriptions in English of goods and services and will be updated on a monthly basis.

Today our China offer on SAEGIS includes all published trademarks, unpublished pendings and pharmaceutical names in use.
